GUARDIAN, U.K.
THE GUARDIAN HAS A 1:26 VIDEO SHOWING THE POLICE DID INDEED USE WATER CANNONS. THIS MEANS THE SHERIFF SPOKESMAN LIED WHEN HE SAID THEY DID NOT.
WHAT ELSE HAVE THEY LIED ABOUT?

CHICAGO TRIBUNE ALSO SHOWED WATER CANNON, NOT A "FINE MIST" BEING USED ON PROTESTERS.

IT WAS 22-26 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT THAT NIGHT, BELOW FREEZING.

Nov 21, 2016 ·DAILYKOS

Last night, November 20, millions of people around the world watched independent media coverage of the over-militarized North Dakota police force endangering the lives of hundreds of people opposing the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

In October, a police barricade was set-up with military vehicles chained to concrete barriers on a bridge on Highway 1806, north of the pipeline opposition camps, cutting off vital transportation access for local residents and businesses in and around the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.
Early last night the Water Protectors attempted to remove the blockade. Police said they would at some point open the road after their October 27 raid and demolition of the protectors’ camp set up adjacent to the blockade.
The camp was on an easement granted to the pipeline builder, land that was taken from the various Sioux bands in violation of the 1851 Fort Laramie Treaty.

The Water Protectors were met with hundreds of riot police, military vehicles with Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD), water cannons, tear-gas canisters, high-pressure pepper spray and rubber bullets.

The temperature was 26° Fahrenheit and rapidly dropping as hundreds of people were drenched with icy water.
Police tear-gas canisters were tossed into the crowd, some were lobbed back.

A large crowd on a bridge were unable to disperse and were forced to inhale too much gas. Many people started vomiting and losing bowel and bladder control from the coughing.

The water cannons were in use for more than five hours along with intermittent fire of rubber bullets, gas canisters and pepper spray.

NBC and other media used the Morton County Sheriff’s office for their reports last night, incorrectly describing the events, which can be refuted by watching the actual video footage live-streamed into Facebook and now uploaded to YouTube.

Native social media is planning a Media Must Report Twitterstorm because reporting verbatim the false narrative given by the Morton County Sheriff’s Department is not thorough reporting.
YOU can help by participating.

The sheriff’s department told the media that fires were started by the Water Protectors, when, in fact, they were started when deputies shot flash grenades around the blockade.
The Water Protectors put out those fires.

The most obvious police lie was that they didn’t use water cannons on the people but were were trying to put out the fire. Contained fires well away from the front line were started to keep people warm. Water cannons could not reach these fires.

[Media] obtained photos of a woman with her flesh torn away from her forearm, exposing the bone. (Photos showing this have been removed from Facebook).
There is video documentation of head wounds from rubber bullets.

One of the victims was a 13-year-old girl shot in the face.

National Lawyers Guild legal observers on the front lines have confirmed that multiple people were unconscious and bleeding after being shot in the head with rubber bullets.

"Standing Rock is the moral center of the nation right now; the real question is why there's no response from the White House to the kind of abuses that would make us protest loudly if they happened abroad," Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org, said.
"This is America's oldest shame, and it's sad that we're still seeing it in the waning days of the Obama presidency."

• 20 gas canisters were released in a small area (the bridge) in less than five minutes.

• The legal observation team witnessed one person go into a seizure.

• Canisters fired at medic area near the front line.

• One elder went into cardiac arrest but was revived at the scene.

• Nightly fly-overs continue at the main camp intending to create an atmosphere of fear and chaos but the camp is responding with calmness.

Sophia Wilansky, an ally from New York, is facing possible arm amputation tonight. She was hit with a concussion grenade as she was handing out bottled water to the front line at Standing Rock last night.

13-YEAR-OLD GIRL SHOT IN THE FACE.

"According to reports, authorities used such forces in an attempt to clear Highway 1806. It was not stated if the 13-year-old girl was shot in the face with a rubber bullet or live ammunition.

Medics on the scene were also deployed to help those injured.

Initially, the head medic at the Oceti Sakowin camp said that 167 people were injured.

Three of them are elders and seven had to be hospitalized.

One of the elders injured had a cardiac ,that is why emergency medics performed CPR on the person. The person was resuscitated at the scene but is now in the hospital and remains to be under critical condition.

Another emergency medic team reported that hundreds of the protestors went to the gymnasium at the Oceti Sakowin camp and most of them suffered from hypothermia and blunt trauma because the heads and the legs were targeted in the water cannon attacks.

Some also suffered from contamination from the tear gas used.

Indigenous Environmental Network, Honor the Earth, and Sacred Stone Camp said in a joint statement, “Some flares shot by law enforcement started grass fires which were ignored by the water cannons and had to be extinguished by water protectors. Law enforcement also shot down three media drones and targeted journalists with 'less lethal rounds'.

National Lawyers Guild legal observers on the front lines have confirmed that multiple people were unconscious and bleeding after being shot in the head with rubber bullets.”

Standing Rock Police Attack Protesters Again: ‘He Just Smiled and Shot Both My Kneecaps’ ... Report from the Daily Beast.

Nov 03, 2016
Here is a Crow Creek Spirit rider being chased down by DAPL security last Thursday. “You can see the courage and strength both riders and horses have! They escaped and made it home safely,” says Greg Grey Cloud. One buckskin horse made it back to camp  his human with a tranquilizer dart stuck in his flank, says Grey Cloud in a video posted on his Facebook page.

TEENAGE RIDER SHOT FOUR TIMES AT CLOSE RANGE WITH RUBBER BULLETS, TWO HORSES SHOT WITH LIVE ROUNDS, ONE HORSE DIED.

One rider was reportedly hit with up to four rubber bullets and his horse was reported to be hit in the legs by live rounds. Another horse was shot and did not survive."

"A 21-year-old woman was severely injured and may lose her arm after being hit by a projectile when North Dakota law enforcement officers turned a water cannon on Dakota Access pipeline protesters and threw “less-than-lethal” weapons, according to the woman’s father.

Sophia Wilansky was one of several hundred protesters injured during the standoff with police on Sunday on a bridge near the site where the pipeline is planned to cross under the Missouri river.

Journalist Ryan Vizzions posted graphic photos of 21-year-old Sophia Wilansky’s injuries on Facebook Monday, showing her blood and exposed broken bones. He wrote that a “concussion grenade” hit Wilansky on Sunday night, when police used tear gas, rubber bullets and water against pipeline opponents in sub-freezing temperatures.

A press release from the Standing Rock Medic & Healer Council corroborated Vizzions’ report, saying that “several eye-witnesses” reported that authorities were throwing concussion grenades. Fragments of some foreign material were found in Wilansky’s wound, Linda Black Elk of the Medic & Healer Council told The Huffington Post.

Wayne Wilansky, Sophia’s father, told The Guardian that his daughter was in surgery for eight hours on Monday and said it’s possible her arm may need to be amputated.

“The best-case scenario is no pain and 10-20 percent functionality,” he said.

“grenade pieces have been removed from her arm in surgery and will be saved for legal proceedings”.

President Obama, They Shoot Horses And Teenage Boys On The Dakota Access Pipeline

[AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT FROM HUFFPOST]

"They are herded into dog kennels at Fort Rice and the insides of their arms are marked with a number in black ink. Women suffer broken bones from batons wielded by police officers and deputies.

How do you feel when you watch this Mr. Obama? Do the words of Floris White Bull recalling the traumatic experiences of people violently removed from camp and being caged in dog kennels move you in any way? Does it occur to you to call Attorney General Loretta Lynch into your office and demand that she look into this?

Did your staff include the LA Times article in your morning briefing?

Did you cry when you heard a young rider was shot off his beautiful bay quarter horse by more than one of those “non-lethal” rubber bullets?

Did Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier inform you, Mr. President, you who held babies in your arms at Standing Rock, that these are “non-lethal” rubber bullets?

In fact in a PubMed article, “Death Following Rubber Bullet Wounds to the Chest,” a different story emerges."

AS THE GUARDIAN REPORTED, NOV. 22:

"The activists, who call themselves “water protectors”, have faced a heavily militarised police force.

More than 400 protesters have been arrested by law enforcement officers who have deployed pepper spray, teargas, rubber bullets, Tasers, sound weapons and other “less-than-lethal” methods.

Following Sunday’s confrontation 26 protesters were taken to hospital and more than 300 injured, according to the Standing Rock Medic & Healer Council. Most of the injured had hypothermia after being hit by a water cannon in below-freezing weather.

Private security guards who deployed guard dogs on protesters were not properly licensed and could face criminal charges, according to an investigation.

The Native American-led protests of the Dakota access pipeline received national attention in September when officers allegedly pepper-sprayed activists while guard dogs attacked protesters in a confrontation that was caught on video by the news program Democracy Now!"

THE VIDEO, LIKE OTHERS, CLEARLY SHOWS "LAW ENFORCEMENT" GRABBING PROTESTERS RANDOMLY FROM THE CROWD AND USING RIOT STICKS ON THEM. MANY INJURIES, BROKEN TEETH, CONCUSSIONS, ETC.

OTHER VIDEOS SHOW "LAW ENFORCEMENT" DRAGGING ELDERLY LAKOTA FROM A PRAYER CIRCLE AND SLINGING THEM TO THE GROUND.

Leota Eastman Iron Cloud, a Native American activist from South Dakota who has been at the protests for months, told the Guardian,“We are here in prayer, and they came for war,” she said, explaining that she continued protesting even after she was hit with pepper spray. “I can’t believe that people out there can actually do this to other human beings.”
Iron Cloud said the conflict with the dogs was harrowing. “I was face to face with the security guards and the dogs,” she said, adding that at the time of the protest, construction workers were “bulldozing sacred ground”.

The tribe and other environmental and indigenous rights’ activists have argued that the planned $3.7bn oil pipeline, which would transport fracked crude from North Dakota to a refinery near Chicago, poses a major threat to the local water supply and to the cultural heritage of the Native Americans.

Opponents have challenged the project in court with little success. But the federal government, which provided initial approval of construction, announced last month that it would reassess its decision and delay issuing permits."

WHAT THAT ARTICLE DOES NOT SAY IS THAT THE CITY OF BISMARK, NORTH DAKOTA DID SUCCESSFULLY FIGHT THE PIPELINE BEING LAID NEAR THEIR CITY, WHICH IS WHAT PUSHED THE LOCATION WHERE THE PROTESTERS ARE TODAY.
BISMARK OFFERED THE SAME ARGUMENT AS THE LAKOTA, THAT A RUPTURE OR LEAK IN THE PIPELINE WOULD DEPRIVE THEM OF THEIR WATER SUPPLY AND WOULD CREATE ENVIRONMENTAL CATASTROPHE.

THE PIPELINE COMPANY HAS DUG UP INDIGENOUS GRAVES AND MOVED BODIES FROM THE SITE AND HAVE ALSO DESTROYED ANCIENT SACRED SITES ALONG ITS ROUTE.

ALTHOUGH THESE ATROCITIES WERE NOT COMMITTED ON "INDIAN LAND" BUT ON LAND ONCE OCCUPIED BY THE TRIBES, IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE "RESERVATION", THE FACT REMAINS THAT THE TRIBE IS AFFECTED BY WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE AND THEIR FRESH WATER SOURCE AND THEIR ENVIRONMENT IS JUST AS MUCH IN DANGER AS BISMARK'S WAS.

THEY SIMPLY DON'T HAVE THE BIG MONEY AND LAWYERS TO FIGHT THE PIPELINE IN COURT LIKE THE CITY DID.

JOURNALISTS HAVE BEEN ARRESTED AND THEIR CAMERAS CONFISCATED OR DAMAGED.
WHY?
WHAT IS IT THAT THE POLICE, PRIVATE SECURITY GUARDS, PIPELINE COMPANY DON'T WANT THE WORLD TO SEE?

STILL, VIDEOS AND PHOTOS BY JOURNALISTS DO EXIST TO SHOW THE TRUTH, TO SHOW ANY COURT WHO WILL LOOK AT THEM HOW THE LAKOTA PEOPLE AND OTHER PROTESTERS HAVE BEEN TREATED SINCE DAY 1.

THOSE RECORDS OF THIS PROTEST CAN PROVE THAT WHAT THE PEOPLE HAVE SAID IS TRUE AND THAT WHAT LAW ENFORCEMENT HAS DENIED IS A LIE.

RECENTLY, WHEN IRATE DEMOCRAT PROTESTERS TOOK TO THE STREETS, STARTED FIRES, DESTROYED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN PRIVATE PROPERTY, BURNED THE AMERICAN FLAG, ATTACKED AND SERIOUSLY INJURED WOMEN AND THE ELDERLY, PUNCHED A POLICE HORSE, ATTACKED MOTORISTS WHO HAD TRUMP BUMPER STICKERS, BLOCKED TRAFFIC ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS, THERE WERE NO WATER CANNONS ACOUSTIC WEAPONS, TEAR GAS, COMBUSTION GRENADES OR RIOT STICKS USED TO STOP THEM AND THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA REPORTED EVERY SKIRMISH BETWEEN PROTESTERS AND BYSTANDERS WITH GLEE, MADE EXCUSES FOR THEIR LAWLESSNESS, AND EVEN ENCOURAGED THEM TO CONTINUE.

WHAT'S THE BIG DIFFERENCE?

THESE ARE "INDIANS", "NATIVE AMERICANS", DESCENDANTS OF THE VICTIMS OF THE "AMERICAN HOLOCAUST", OF GENOCIDE, ETHNIC CLEANSING, AND AS YOU CAN SEE, THE INDIAN WARS ARE NOT OVER IN AMERICA... SOME ARE STILL SHOOTING AND BRUTALIZING INDIGENOUS PEOPLE AS IF IT WERE THE 1700s ALL OVER AGAIN.

WHEN WILL THEY SEND IN THE SMALLPOX BLANKETS?
WHEN WILL THE CAVALRY ARRIVE FOR THE MASSACRE?

THIS TIME WE HAVE PROOF OF THE ATTACKS, THE ONGOING WAR AGAINST THESE PEOPLE.
AND THAT IS WHAT THE "LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENTS" DON'T WANT SHOWN, DON'T WANT PUBLICIZED.

"For the past seven months, members of the Sioux Nation at Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North Dakota have been fighting for their way of life by protesting the planned construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Armed with a 4x5 large-format camera and audio equipment, New York City-based photographer Chris Callaway has documented in intimate portraits and audio interviews the stories of these protesters.
The images and audio capture the movement that has drawn people from around the world to help protect the lands that the Sioux Nation holds so dear."

THERE ARE NUMEROUS YOUTUBE VIDEOS AS WELL, FACEBOOK PAGES, TWITTER TWEETS, ALL SHOWING THE TRUTH, THE VERY UGLY TRUTH... THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT IS STILL AT WAR WITH THE INDIGENOUS TRIBES AND THE WHITE HOUSE AND MOST OF CONGRESS, BY THEIR SILENCE, APPROVE THIS WAR.

THE COMPANY LAYING THAT PIPELINE IS NOT AMERICAN, THE OIL THAT WILL FLOW THROUGH IT COMES FROM CANADA, AND EXPERTS HAVE SAID ALL ALONG THAT IT ISN'T WORTH IT AND ISN'T NECESSARY.
THE NEW YORK TIME REPORTED:

"Pipeline spills and ruptures occur regularly. Sometimes the leaks are small, and sometimes they are catastrophic gushers. In 2013, a Tesoro Logistics pipeline in North Dakota broke open and spilled 865,000 gallons of oil onto a farm. In 2010, an Enbridge Energy pipeline dumped more than 843,000 gallons of oil into the Kalamazoo River in Michigan, resulting in a cleanup that lasted years and cost more than a billion dollars, according to Inside Climate News.

In a 2012 examination of pipeline safety, ProPublica reported that more than half of the country’s pipelines were at least 50 years old. Critics cited aging pipelines and scant federal oversight as factors that put public health and the environment at risk."

ANOTHER BROKEN PROMISE...
"In a plea for President Barack Obama to support protestors of the Dakota Access Pipeline, one member of the affected Sioux tribe reminded him about their personal encounters two years ago.

Kendrick Eagle, a member of the Sioux Nation at Standing Rock reservation in North Dakota, addresses Obama directly in a video from filmmakers Lori Woodley, Doug McLea and Jonathan Klett uploaded to YouTube this week. Eagle, one of the pipeline protestors from more than 200 other Native American tribes, first met the president when he visited the reservation in 2014."

SINCE DONALD TRUMP OWNS STOCK IN THAT PIPELINE, YOU CAN COUNT ON IT GOING THROUGH ONCE HE'S IN OFFICE.

SINCE OBAMA HAS TURNED HIS BACK ON THIS, THE PEOPLE STANDING TO PROTECT WHAT LITTLE THEY HAVE LEFT CAN FORGET PRESIDENTIAL HELP TO STOP THE THING.

SAME STORY AS ALWAYS IN AMERICA... PUSH THE "INDIANS" ASIDE, TAKE THEIR LAND, DESTROY EVERYTHING THEY VALUE, EVERYTHING THEY NEED.

TO HELL WITH THE TRIBES, LET'S HELP BIG OIL, RIGHT?

WHO CARES?

TOO FEW....AS ALWAYS.
